A G & T and my First Blog!

Daughter brought up in a small village but now living an exciting life in London, has arrived home for the weekend. She has set me up a blog and also created a history group for our village on Facebook. So here we go! Where do I start? What shall I say?

Think I need to top up my G &T....and then I will start.

I moved with my husband and baby daughter to a small Dorset village some 26 years ago. I like it here - the village and its inhabitants are like my family now. A cousin who now lives in France said I should create a blog as the things I get involved with and the tales I tell about my village are funny and interesting. The daughter tells tales of what we get up to here in the countryside which cause amusement to everyone. She is standing behind me now trying to edit what I say so come back another time to hear my musing of village life.
